Outside my window... It’s rather late at night, there’s a light covering of cloud, so I can’t see any stars, but the moon is making a beautiful white glow.
I am thinking...Of the little bushbaby we rescued yesterday, and hoping it will survive.
I am thankful for... the Lord’s Grace, and His Hand of protection over us. Today I nearly leaned against a scorpion on the wall... and Jordan had been playing outside only a few minutes before!
From the learning rooms... Still Ancient Rome.
From the kitchen...we had Malaysian Chicken for supper. Tomorrow’s meals are tomorrow’s problem.
I am wearing... Yellow t-shirt, denim skirt and crocs.
I am going... to have a bath, and then go to bed when I’m done here.
I am reading... I just received The Five Love Languages of your Family, and I hope to start on it soon. I also plan to read Love’s Unending Legacy by Janette Oke when Eden is finished with it.
I am hoping... that Jordan’s teething woes will soon be over and that he’ll be cheerful again.
I am hearing... the computer’s quiet hum, crickets chirping, and... that’s all!
Around the house...I am trying to sort through clothing, get rid of old, outgrown clothes, make lists of who needs what for winter. I also plan to buy the whole family new winter sheets! It’s just so hot at the moment that it’s hard to think of winter clothes or bedding!!
One of my favorite things...Enrista Coffee (probably the only coffee I really enjoy)
A few plans for the rest of the week... The usual lessons, a dietician appointment tomorrow, another homeschool get together on Friday, a friend’s birthday party on Saturday, and a party/tea for Jordan on Sunday afternoon. Daniel got a BIG present, so he skips a party this year (his choice!)
