Bathroom Photos and Other Bits 'n Pieces

Well the Eisteddfod went off nicely today!  I woke up feeling much better this morning (I think I had far too much stress this week) and Eden played very well!  The one piece she was dreading playing was the  piece the adjudicator liked and made special mention of.  She got an A for her program and A+ for her sight-reading.  Not bad, considering she only started working on the one piece last week!

Today is also such a special day!!  17 years ago I became a mother!!  To the same beautiful girl who played today.  It's hard to believe she's so big already.  Wasn't it just yesterday that I held that gorgeous baby girl in my arms?   To me she looked just like my favourite doll, with this perfect little face and the cutest little nose!  17 means she can go for her Learner's License test.  Oh my goodness - am I ready for this??
Watching your children growing up is so bittersweet!!

The Eisteddfod administrator wished Eden a Happy Birthday after all the marks were handed out, and gave her a gift.  While Eden was walking up to fetch it, her teacher grabbed someone's cello, and started playing "Happy Birthday to You" on it.  Everyone joined in singing - it was really special, even though Eden was quite embarrassed!

Happy Birthday Eden!!

Tomorrow my little nephew turns 1!!  I can't believe that either!  This year has truly flown by!

Happy Birthday Joel!!!

It is also my Mother-in-Law's 70th birthday tomorrow, so we'll be heading round there after church.  The family is planning a surprise present for her, but I can't reveal it yet....

And here are the bathroom photos:
