Jordan and the Jam

This morning Malcolm and I took my car through to a panelbeater in Johannesburg for some (ahem) minor repairs to the door. (It was him, not me...honest...at least the biggest dent was...I just made a small one on the other side!) The thought of heading for Joburg in the early morning traffic terrifies me, but it was actually not that bad! The highway only came to a standstill twice...
We obviously went in two cars, and Malcolm had to bring me back before going to work, so we stopped off and had breakfast and coffee together first. Jordan came with us, and halfway through our delicious Farmhouse Breakfasts he started fussing quite loudly. To keep him quiet and occupied, I gave him one of the little plastic containers of jam that came with the toast. It kept him busy for a while, and when I next looked at him...... He was covered in jam!! His little teeth had punctured the foil cover and he'd squeezed the jam out. It was all over his face, shirt, hands, arms and dripping in big blobs onto his legs! But his expression was one of such pleasure!! When he saw us looking at him he screwed his eyes tightly shut and just grinned!! He was really enjoying himself! Unfortunately I couldn't get a photo of that face, but I got these with my phone's camera:
